Cookies!
Sugar cookies (pre-made dough), "frosted" with peanut butter or Nutella, and decorated with white choc chips, mini choc chips, pretzels and M&Ms. Kid friendly (if a mess), Mother devoured three approved.
It maybe that is Monday AM and cold and all but did you put the pretzels in right when the cookies came out of the oven? I assume you had to wait till everything cooled to put on the PB, nutella, white chocolate chip eyes, etc?
Actually, the pretzels go into the cold dough, then into the oven.
You CAN put in eyes and/or nose before baking, too, if you don't want to frost them all (and believe me, you DON'T)... or you can "glue" them on with a little Nutella. But generally yes, frost and decorate after they've cooled.

TY! We might have to try these with the 4.5 year old. He is super excited to bake cookies this year.
