fresh air

It is gorgeous outside today. No... let me think... that doesn't do it justice. It is magnificent. Stunning. Glorious. Spectacular. It's about 67 degrees, the sky is blue, the birds are chattering. AJ and I, wanting to take part in it, sat in the grass and threw the ball for Napoleon about a million times. While he fetched, we pulled at the weeds and grass and AJ tried to eat them. We watched a young kid skateboard through the neighborhood. We felt a slight breeze blow by. We smelled cleeeeen dirt underneath the green. We saw the very definition of "dappled sunlight" teasing our azaleas, and the brightest, best green of the tops of the trees in spring. Can we just call it heaven on earth? Because that's what it was. I could have stayed there lying in the grass all afternoon.
