I'm sorry - more with the birds

Dudes. I'm all about seeing different species right in my very own backyard. It is cool. The colors, and the magnificent little chirping songs have to be evidence of God's goodness. Not to mention a pretty kickass nature lesson.


However.


THIS GUY??



SCARED THE EVER-LOVING CRAP OUT OF ME YESTERDAY when he jumped up out of nowhere and landed in my window frame. He has a wingspan of what looked like about 6 feet yesterday (but is only about 2.5, I learned upon researching,)... With that dark black coloring and ominous large beak though, capable of piercing small children's eyes out? ...seriously, give me the fat little tweety birdies. I can do without the red-crested fire-breathing ones.
