I got screamed at by my 22-month-old last night because I DARED to put away his DVD case, which he told me it was time to put "wa-way," instead of lifting him high above my head so he could reach the shelf and do it HIMSELF. So we're at that stage.
Personally, I am right at the opposite end of that stick. I was thinking yesterday, while doing a work assignment, "I really don't LIKE doing this. But the fact is, I CAN do it, I have the SKILLS necessary to do it." Kind-of a bummer that I have those skills, because it means I Have To do the assignment.
Guess I'll be a great coach when AJ gets to the "I DON'T WANNA" stage. :)
